COLUMBIA, Mo. – Gary Pinkel, head football at the University of Missouri, is launching a new website to showcase his Mizzou program and give Tiger fans a wide-ranging look at what goes into running the state’s only Division I team.
As part of an effort to share the program with Tiger fans, Pinkel – the third-winningest coach in Mizzou Football history – is announcing the development of a new website, GaryPinkel.com. The primary intent of the website is to show a different behind-the-scenes side of the program, to engage Tiger fans in a more personal way, and to celebrate the growing success of Mizzou’s players in the National Football League.
The new website will feature:
· Periodic fan-interactive Google hangouts with Coach Pinkel
· Upcoming event information
· Photo and video galleries
· The latest team and SEC news
· Coach Pinkel’s Twitter feed
· Interviews with coaches and players
· Missouri’s NFL pipeline
Expect the website to display more about Coach Pinkel and his strong relationship with his players. In addition, it will be the place to go for direct communication from Pinkel and resourceful information on Missouri Football.
The website is in the final stages of development and is expected to launch formally on July 22nd at 12 p.m.
